1:1 Mentoring
Someone in your corner, week after week
Mentoring here isn't a chat in an office. It's walking, working, feeding animals, fixing something, and talking while you do it.

What it is
Consistent, practical, relational
Mentoring is for people who need a dependable adult in their week: young people struggling with school, anxiety or transitions, and adults navigating burnout, isolation, change or recovery.
Sessions usually run around an hour. Most happen outdoors on the smallholding, but we'll meet in a café, a park or at home if that's what makes it possible.
We are not therapists. We don't diagnose or treat. What we offer is a steady relationship, practical problem-solving and honest encouragement, often alongside clinical support rather than instead of it.
What we work on
Whatever's actually in the way
- Confidence, self-worth and the stories people carry about themselves.
- Routine, sleep, structure and getting through the week.
- School refusal, transitions and pressure, without shaming anyone for struggling.
- Practical life skills: money, cooking, applications, appointments, phone calls.
- Work readiness and volunteering as a stepping stone.
- Anger, shutdown, overwhelm and what helps you come back down.
