Corporate social impact
Social value you can stand in the middle of
Not a logo on a leaflet. A gate that didn't exist last week, a shed that's warm this winter, and mentoring places that someone actually got.

Why us
Small enough that your money is visible
As a community interest company we reinvest everything. Corporate income does something specific and traceable: it pays for the free and subsidised places that keep this open to people with no money.
We're also honest reporting partners. You'll get real numbers, real photographs and the occasional "that didn't work as well as we hoped", which is worth more to a social value submission than glossy nothing.
Good for your team, too. A day of physical work outdoors, with a clear purpose, does more for a team than a room with a flipchart.
Team impact days
A day on the land: fencing, building, clearing, painting, planting. Your team leaves with something they built and photographs that aren't stock images.
Sponsor a place
Fund mentoring sessions for someone who can't pay. You get a clear line between spend and outcome, reported honestly.
Sponsor a project
Back the Men's Shed, the rescue, or a piece of infrastructure like a polytunnel or workshop kit, with recognition on site and online.
Long-term partnership
A multi-year relationship: employee volunteering, funded places, skills exchange and shared reporting for your social value obligations.
What a day looks like
Arrive at nine, achieve something by four
We scope the job with you beforehand so there's a real task waiting, not busywork invented for visitors. Groups of six to twenty work best. Bring boots and waterproofs; we'll bring the tools, the safety briefing and the tea.
- Welcome, site tour and honest introduction to who we work with.
- Safety briefing and split into working groups.
- Morning graft on a scoped, useful project.
- Lunch together, usually outside, with the people who are here every week.
- Afternoon finish, walk-round of what got done, and photos for your reporting.
- Follow-up impact note within two weeks showing what your day funded and built.
