Funders & partners

What your funding actually buys

We know what a good funding relationship looks like: clear numbers, no over-claiming, and a delivery partner who tells you early when something isn't working.

Our funding model

Three income streams, one purpose

We deliberately don't depend on grant income alone. Trading income keeps the lights on when funding rounds move.

Earned income

Paid mentoring, corporate impact days and commissioned work. This is our most reliable income and it subsidises everything else.

Grants and trusts

Restricted funding for specific projects: the Men's Shed, rescue provision, equipment and free mentoring places.

Community giving

Sponsorship, regular donations, animal sponsorship and local fundraising, small, loyal and steady.

Governance

How we're held to account

Wild Mind Well-Being CIC is a community interest company with an asset lock: what's built here stays in community use. We file annual accounts and a community interest report.

We hold safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and lone working policies, carry appropriate insurance, and DBS-check everyone working with young people or vulnerable adults.

Policy pack available on request, most funders want it, and we'd rather send it up front than make you ask twice.

Reporting

What you'll get from us

  • Agreed outcome measures set at the start, in plain English.
  • Attendance, engagement and demographic data collected as standard.
  • Narrative case studies with consent, not lifted anecdotes.
  • Interim and end-of-grant reports on your template and to your deadlines.
  • Photography and film where consent allows, usable in your own reporting.
  • An early phone call if something isn't working, rather than a surprise at year end.

With thanks

Referral partners

Working with services, schools and health teams

GPs, social care, drug and alcohol services, schools, job centres and community teams refer into us regularly.

  • Referral is a conversation, not a twelve-page form.
  • We'll tell you honestly if we're not the right fit for someone.
  • We work alongside clinical provision rather than duplicating it.
  • Named contact for each partner organisation, so you're not chasing a generic inbox.
  • Social prescribing link workers are very welcome, get in touch and we'll walk you round.
