Corporate Volunteering & CSR Days at Wild Minds

At Wild Minds, we love connecting with our local community and welcome groups looking to give back through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) volunteering. Our farm is home to over 70 rescued and therapy animals, and we provide alternative education and therapeutic support for young people who find traditional settings difficult to access. Every helping hand makes a difference — but so does the way help is offered.

Why We Charge for CSR Volunteering

Running a working farm and therapeutic provision means that extra people on site require planning, preparation, and supervision from our team. To make sure your visit is both meaningful and safe, we ask for a group contribution.

This covers:

• Planning and supervision by experienced staff

• All necessary tools and materials

• Health and safety briefings

• Time taken to create a bespoke activity list for your team

• A guided tour and time with our rescue animals

Typical Schedule

​

10:00 – Arrival & Welcome
Meet at the farm for an introduction, health and safety briefing, and a guided tour to meet some of our rescue animals.

10:30 – Team Tasks
Get stuck into meaningful projects such as paddock maintenance, painting fences, gardening, or creating enrichment for the animals.

12:30 – Lunch
Bring your own packed lunch or we can recommend excellent local caterers and cafés.

13:15 – Afternoon Activities
Swap tasks or finish your project for that sense of achievement.

15:00 – Animal Time
The highlight of the day! Groom a pony, feed the goats, or meet Bernard the pig. Perfect for team bonding (and selfies).

16:00 – Wrap Up & Depart
Celebrate your team’s efforts before heading off — or continue together at one of our recommended local pubs or restaurants.

Pricing

• Full Day (10:00–16:00): £900 per group (up to 15 staff)

• Half Day (3 hours): £600 per group (up to 15 staff)

These prices are a guide — we can create bespoke packages to suit your team’s needs. Options can include catering, additional activities, or extended time with our animals.

All income goes directly into supporting our rescue animals and the young people who attend Wild Minds.
